Hannah Overton's Wrongful Conviction

TM Daily Post brought to light the prosecutorial misconduct in Hannah's case in their recent article. They summarized, "Things took a dramatic turn in Hannah Overton’s evidentiary hearing on Wednesday when ex-prosecutor Sandra Eastwood reluctantly took the stand to be questioned about whether or not she had withheld critical evidence from the defense. The once-confident and commanding assistant D.A., who had aggressively pursued capital murder charges against Hannah in 2007, seemed far different yesterday than she did at trial. Appearing fragile, flustered, and at times on the verge of tears, Eastwood offered up confusing and often contradictory answers as she denied any wrongdoing." Read more

Wrongful Convictions

It's high time that we step back and take a long, hard look at our justice system. There are far too many men and women being exonerated after wrongful convictions. Just Google the term - wrongfully convicted exoneration in 2008 - and you will find no less than a dozen people who have been exonerated this year!! Also, you will find that together they have had over 100 years of life stolen by a system that promises JUSTICE FOR ALL.
